Grandma's House CAC has been a staple in Northwest Arkansas since its beginning in 2010. GHCAC is a children's advocacy center or CAC. A CAC exists to provide hope and healing to child abuse victims and their non-offending caregivers. Four primary services are offered: Advocacy, Forensic Interviews, Sexual Assault Exams, & Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. While GHCAC does cover seven counties, three of its counties are located directly in NWA: Boone, Carroll, & Madison. In 2020 alone, GHCAC saw 540 children, over half of whom where from either Boone, Carroll or Madison counties.
