ABOUT COBBLESTONE FARMS
Cobblestone Farms is a non-profit committed to serving our community in the areas of hunger relief and sustainable agriculture. We operate a 25 acre farm in west Fayetteville, Arkansas where we grow produce and raise livestock according to sustainable agricultural principles. We believe it's not only our responsibility to raise amazing food, but to take care of our environment as we do so. We donate a substantial portion of our harvest into the charitable food system through partnerships with local foodbanks, food pantries and other programs. We believe that all community members have a right to have access to local, fresh, nutritionally dense foods. We sell the remainder into the larger food system with a desire to further stimulate the local farm to table movement. We never want to compete directly with family farms. However, we desire to grow the local food system to provide those farms with more ready access to customers and buyers. Furthermore, we are committed to raising up the next generation of farmers in our community. We desire to take in young, aspiring farmers, teach them these agricultural methods, show them how to run a profitable business and integrate them into our community. Our desire is upon graduation from our program, these farmers would be able to immediately began impacting our community and continue to do so for decades to come. Lastly, we are passionate about engaging our community through educational and volunteering opportunities.
