Adra Bangladesh

This summer, PUC and La Sierra will come together to help out the Chalantika Mother & Children Development Project in the town of Dahka. 


ADRA Bangladesh operates the Tongi Children Education Program (TCEP) in a very poverty stricken area, giving 250 students an education.  Many families struggle to pay the tuition of a little more than $1 a month and often cannot afford proper meals every day.

TCEP currently has the budget to provide one meal a week, but more needs to be done.  That is why they are initiating the Tongi Nutritional Meal Program.  It will give our students better health and improve community awareness on proper nutrition.

MAKE SURE:

1. Your passport is valid for at least six months after trip's return date.
2. You apply for a visa through the Bangladesh Consular Office
3. Have your medical requirements up to date, including Hep A and Typhoid
