We got some AMAZING news this morning! Colombia has officially approved us and has given us the referral for Pedro…meaning that Pedro is the child they have approved us to adopt. So many tears of joy and relief today, I feel like I have been holding my breath for months now. Our i800a was officially approved and we are cleared by United States Citizenship And Immigration Services to move forward with our adoption. The even better news is that our dossier is in Colombia, translated and ready to be reviewed. Please send your thoughts and prayers that this goes smoothly and we can bring "P" home soon!

Our Home Study is completed and was approved on April 26th...that same day our i800a was sent to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and was received on April 29th.  We are now hoping and praying this get processed quickly so we can submit our Dossier to Colombia. We now have two Skype calls a month with "P" and we are thrilled that we get to see his face and talk to him more ofte...

We are pushing through our home study and hope to have it completed in the next few weeks. We have been able to Skype with "P" several times now; our most recent call was the week before Christmas, just seeing his smile and hearing his voice lights up our hearts. We miss him so much and can't wait until we are all together again.
