We have a travel date! we will be leaving for Colombia Nov 29th and meeting Mirlo on Dec 3rd!

We are so excited to announce that we are matched with a little girl who just turned 4! We can't share her name or photo yet so we're calling her Mirlo for now which means blackbird in Spanish. Those close to me know the song Blackbird by the Beatles is very special to me and I think it is very suiting for adopting a child.

Exciting update: Our Dossier has been approved! This means that ICBF (the Colombian child welfare agency) has approved us to adopt a child from Colombia and we could be matched anytime!
