Hello friends and family! Thank you so much visiting our page!! We have very exciting news to share.
We are in the process of adopting an embryo and will soon be matched with a loving family!
About us: We have been married for 6 years and have been trying to have children for the last three years. Every day we seek to follow Jesus with all our hearts and live by His example in our lives. We currently live in Richmond, IN. Andrew is a Program Associate in University Advancement Research at Miami University, and Casey is the head Speech and Language Pathologist at Fayette Regional Health Services.
We have longed for the day to grow our family, prayed and trusted God to bring children at the right time. In the summer of 2014, we felt God telling us it was time to start having children.
A year passed. We were still trusting God's plan, but still nothing...We then began a series of tests & appointments with specialists that lead to more tests, surgery, taking medication, and more waiting.
We know that nothing is impossible with Christ, and we continue to earnestly pray for children of our own flesh & blood. From a purely biological standpoint, it is unlikely to occur, but God is certainly able to do it, and we believe He can. Through lots of tears, pain, prayer, research, guidance, phone calls, etc., we ultimately discovered embryo adoption.
To simplify this as much as possible, we are adopting an embryo. When we are matched with a family, an embryo will be implanted in (transferred to) Casey. This embryo will come from a generous family who donated their remaining embryos after going through IVF. Families lovingly donate their embryos so other couples can have the opportunity to grow their families.
The Lord has been teaching us that family runs deeper than blood. We are trusting that He will provide and bring this life into our family. We have completed our home study & are in the initial stages of the fundraising process.
We can't wait to give Baby Zim our unconditional love and care. We know God has a bright hope and future for our family.
We humbly invite you to join us on this journey. Would you pray for us? Would you consider helping us financially to grow our family? Thank you in advance for your generosity, prayers, and support. Love, The Zimmer's.
