We have BIG news!

We are adopting another child!  We have a precious little 11-year-old girl waiting for us in China, who will join our family this winter.  She joins a 14-year-old sister and 12-year-old brother whom were also adopted from China, in 2013 and 2016.  In addition to these children, we have three biological children (ages 27, 24, 20) who are an integral part of welcoming, embracing and helping to raise their little siblings.  A 29-year-old young adult is also part of our family.

33 years ago when we got married, we did not envision having 7 children!  However, the calling to adopt has forever changed our lives in lasting, positive ways.  We truly cannot imagine our life without our "Littles".  I tell people often that God's plan was much better than ours.  It is a messy, beautiful, meaningful existence, and we would not change it for anything.

We are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome another beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. Adoption related costs can easily total up to $30,000 or more, and this is our third in 5 years. This is why we have set a goal of $5,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
