Hello friends. As you may know Leah and I are on our journey to adopt a child from the country of Colombia. We're so excited to give a child an opportunity to grow up in our home and teach him or her the best things that we know about Jesus, family and what it means to be loved and cherished. And because this is an international adoption it is very likely that our new child will have some sort of special need. 

Why adopt you might ask? Our answer is simple; we feel called by Christ to take care of orphans and the best way we know how to do this is to open our home to the orphaned. But international adoption is very expensive. An international adoption costs close to $40,000 in total fees. That covers all agency fees, government fees and travel expenses. That is a big number and sometimes a little intimidiating, but we serve a big God. 

We've started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the next chunk of the funding that we need to make our adoption a success. We have a donations goal of $15,000 that will go towards the total cost of the adoption. It's been our dream to help give a child an opportunity like this and we hope that you will consider helping us make our dream a reality.
