As many of you know, I am adopting a daughter from Ethiopia.  This has been a long time desire of mine, and I am so grateful that it is finally becoming a reality.  After a year and a half of paperwork and waiting, things have started moving and I see the light at the end of the tunnel.  I am currently awaiting my first court date and hope to be traveling in late June.   It's been over 3 years since I last saw my daughter, so as you can imagine, I am VERY anxious to make this trip!  

As I prepare to travel in June and then again later in the summer to bring her home, I am making a final push to raise some additional funds to help offset the fees associated with the adoption.  

Not everyone is called to adopt, but I do believe that everyone is called to be a part of adoption.  Please consider one of the following ways to get involved:

• Make a tax free donation through Pure Charity.  
• Share my fundraiser with your friends.  You may know people that have a heart for adoption that might be willing to make a donation.
• Pray for me and for my daughter
• Ask me about adoption and how you can get more involved in caring for orphans
