Participants will be supporting 99 Balloons’ Global Partners in Uganda. In addition to experiencing the story of disability in Uganda, team members will provide training, direct care and assistance for kids with disabilities; organize a week-long day camp for kids with disability; and assist local staff with various needs. The team will be working with a ministry that provides care for over 20 orphans experiencing disability, as well as a community care program that provides resources and services for over 50 families experiencing disability.
Space is limited. Applications are open to anyone. However, our host site has requested the following skill sets.
Physical Therapist
Wheelchair/Equipment Specialist
Accountant
Mechanic
Day Camp (organize and implement games and activities)
Trip Cost does not include shots, malaria medication, airport meals, souvenirs.
