Today is our final step before the waiting portion of this adoption journey. We have our home study this afternoon and after that is completed and approved birthmothers will be able to review our family. We anticipate being approved as soon as the end of next week!

Because of your generosity we have the funds for the home study and approval fee! the next fee is when we are matched with a birthmother. 

This part.....this is the beauty and heartbreak of adoption. It is moving and odd all at the same time to think about a mother choosing us for her child. Knowing the pain she is feeling having to make such a decision and the joy we will feel upon her picking us. The beauty in it is the redemption. the redemption of life and these relationships. Our prayer is that she will desire a relationship with her child and that we will be able to facilitate that in a healthy way.

We know that adoption is not God's design but his perfect example of redeeming it.
