Thanks for visiting the group fundraising page for the July trips to Ethiopia.  This fundraising page is set up to support the July E3/Watermark teams that will be going to Ethiopia on July 20-29 and July 27-Aug 5.  By donating here, you can designate where you want the $$ to go (Ft Worth team or Dallas team) by putting a comment in the notes section (after you click donate now button).  All $$ raised through this page will go toward trip participants going on the trip.  Any overage will go to pay for bibles & discipleship materials for the new believers in the villages.  

The purpose of our trip is to share how Jesus Christ has changed our lives with people in the Oromo region of Ethiopia.  Many of the people we encounter have never heard the good news of Jesus but have instead been told that God wants you to do "good works" to earn your way to heaven.  Religion has been used as a way to control & manipulate people.  Many of the new believers are persecuted if they accept Christ & are kicked out of their homes & off their farms but many have said that they feel freedom when they hear that Jesus Christ loves them & desires a personal relationship with them.  When someone accepts Christ, we immediately introduce them to our Ethiopian disciple-makers who are our partners on this trip.  The disciple-makers are responsible for shepherding/discipling the new churches we will be planting.  

I'm so excited about what God has in store & can't wait to see how he will use the Watermark teams to share his "light" in a dark world.  Thanks again for visiting our fundraising page.
