The Ubuntu Youth Project exists to provide opportunity to motivated youth where opportunity is limited. We work with a group of incredible students striving every day for a chance at something better. A big part of our job is communicating to our donors, board of directors, and supporters what is going on at Ubuntu Youth so we will continue to have the financial means to support our program and learners. 

With this in mind, we were heartbroken and discouraged to find the apartment several volunteers and directors live in was robbed. Luckily, no one was home at the time and everything taken is replaceable. The thieves stole the organization's professional-quality camera, boom mic and other camera equipment, as well as several computers. These were generous gifts to Ubuntu Youth. Our goal of $1000 will replace all of our camera equipment and 1 laptop.
