Welcome to Team
HavServe! Construction volunteer work may entail mixing concrete, assisting in building
demolition, carrying bricks and other materials around job sites, assembling
rebar (which reinforces and strengthens concrete), digging the foundations for
structures, painting, or preparing materials for foremen, such as sifting sand
and wetting bricks for construction, among others.
These trips are
designed for first-time travelers and those who do not have a specific skill
set they want to employ in Haiti, but want to be a part of HavServe’s mission to
make lasting differences in Haiti. This trip will allow
travelers to see the HavServe’s direct impact and what we have accomplished
over the past 8 years, along with our vision for the future of the communities
we serve in rural Haiti. Our participants will volunteer and interact with the
Haitian community in a welcoming, vibrant environment while helping to serve children
and youth in our programs.
When you’re not
busy volunteering, you can catch a glimpse of the amazing beauty of rural Haiti
while making local friends and having fun by the beach!
