We are excited to share that we have received our approval from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship!  All the paperwork that needed to be filed before Simon turned 16 has been completed.  In fact, he recently turned 16 and he will soon know that we are coming to get him!  We are so close.  Now, we have ONE more document to get and then we take a trip to the notary and then to the Secretary of State to get all paperwork notarized and apostilled.  That is our task this week.  Finally, we mail our dossier to Ukraine and WAIT!  Wes and I estimate that we will travel there in January, but we pray it will be sooner than that, if at all possible!  We have hit some bumps in this process, but really it hasn't been too bad.  The hardest part is waiting and our ignorance of the process...not knowing if we are doing everything right.  It is all falling into place and we look forward to posting our next update - when we receive our travel dates to go get our son!
