We don't claim to be the picture perfect family, and we don't plan to photoshop our family portrait. But we do believe that Jesus is able to make something beautiful with our sometimes maddening, often times messy, family. 

In response to the immense grace He has shown us, we want our family to reflect His grace--grace that chases us down when we least deserve it, draws us in when we are far off, and welcomes us in the family of God when we are orphans. We are setting out on a journey to adopt from India because there is perhaps no greater display of the grace of God than adoption.

There are an estimated 30 million orphans in India (yes, million). Equally surprising is the cost to care for these orphans through adoption which exceeds $40,000. Both of these statistics are an impossible burden for us to carry. We literally can't do this alone. We don't have the resources required to make this happen. Not even close, and we're not afraid to admit it. Adoption is a community project. We trust the Lord's design to accomplish His purpose in and through community--people who want to journey with one another and give their resources to the work the Lord is doing to care for the orphan.

This journey isn't ours alone. It's ours together. And we welcome your partnership in whatever capacity you want to join the journey. In the hands of the the sovereign and benevolent Father, we'll both be better for it.
