We have quite the story about how we came to pursue adoption.My name is Rachel and my husband is Ryan. We have experienced three miscarriages, two of which have put my health at serious risk. We had briefly discussed adoption before, but not on a totally serious level. It was not something that either of us really thought about in-depth until God spoke to me about adoption while I was listening to a speaker from Holt International at Winter Jam 2015. Ever since then it has been a gradual opening of both of our hearts to pursue this dream. We pray for the future children that we know God is preparing to place in our lives, and we are so excited to see how He will grow our family! We are completely open and accepting of any gender and ethnicity, just as long as the baby is healthy and can be called our own.
