A message from Michael: “Most have heard, but in case you haven’t - BCS (Aaron and Jaye T. Marshall) has agreed to match the original $5k target even though I wasn’t able to hit the half court shot. I am sincerely grateful for the Marshall’s commitment to supporting causes like this. I’m overwhelmed by the rapid response to this fundraiser. I don’t know what to do other than say “Thank You”. We’ll leave the donations open until Saturday as I am still getting questions about how to donate. I hope all of you who donated and helped this go viral (at least regionally) know you contributed to a good cause and can sleep easy tonight knowing you were a part of something special. Thank you!”
This Saturday, Michael will take the floor during the Arkansas vs Georgia game to relive the miracle.
Help us raise $5k with a gift of any size & if Michael can hit the shot his friends Aaron Marshall & Jaye T. Marshall- owners of local company BCS- will match it!
Support the work of 99 Balloons with your gift as Michael Collyar walks back on to the court where 15 years before he knocked down 4 consecutive shots. Can he do it again? Probably not, but let's do some good any way!
Michael and his family attend rEcess here locally in Northwest Arkansas. And we love them whether or not Michael crosses the line again.
