Change a Life - Sponsor a Child!

In 2010 we wrapped our hearts around the sweet little faces of our Alex's House children. Now years later those 33 sweet little faces are growing into beautiful young men and women! Thank you for your faithful sponsorship of these children!

It was October, 2009 when God spoke to Bill Howard and clearly said - "Go to Haiti and start an orphanage for homeless children." After a couple of weeks of prayer and soul searching with his wife Jennifer, Bill gathered his broken spirit and traveled to the Caribbean island for advice from Sam and Delores York. They introduced him to three young Haitian men - brothers Jimmy and Patrick Georges, and best friend Alex Alincy. After guidance through prayer, a partnership was formed, and plans were made. Yet God knew something they did not – that on January 12, 2010 a magnitude 7.0 earthquake would strike Haiti killing over 300,000 people and leaving one million homeless.

Among those who lost their lives in the earthquake was our dear friend Alex Alincy. Among those who were left homeless were the dear children we are now raising to be champions for Jesus – the children of Alex’s House.  Since then, over one hundred American sponsors and have come together to support and raise these beautiful children. Your prayers and financial support have taken these children from the broken rubble of the earthquake to the glorious cross of our Savior – where they are finding New Life in Jesus!  Hallelujah!  Our God reigns!
