I have BIG news!

I have fallen in love with a little boy from China. James is 10 years old and has Apert syndrome and syndactyly. He was abandoned at 6 months and has been living in an orphanage ever since. According to the orphanage workers, James is an exceptionally friendly boy and has a constant desire to learn new things. He loves to sing, dance, look at picture books, and play outside. I was not looking for James, but as soon as I saw his picture on a post from an organization I follow, I had to click on it. The rest was history. I called the organization to find out more about James and the process of adopting him.

I am beyond excited and am doing everything I can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into my home. As part of the adoption process, I have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set up this page to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
