PIERCE UPDATE :)
Since the first of the year we have hit the ground running. Seth has been fixing things on the house and getting it ready for the renters. We move out of this lovely house this weekend. Yikes! We are excited that the Youth Director, Ted Yap from Vintage Church and his wife, Ashley will be taking care of our home starting next week. Our lovely dog Greta (put in tears here) will be moving in with the Morris Family. I keep waiting for reality to set in and for a mini breakdown to happen.
Seth boards the plane for Nicaragua February 12th and us girls will join him March 5th. Living three weeks apart is not very exciting for Seth or I, considering we depend on each other daily. We could really use your prayers for us during this transition. Seth will be spending time becoming established in Leon with work, the city, and a living situation. Several people have offered their home and help to us during this period, Thank you!!! The girls and I will be bunking with the Asta family for our final weeks in Raleigh. I will be working part-time through February, while the girls will continue with their normal school and dance schedules. I am continually humbled by you peeps in many different ways. For now we keep plugging forward with checking off the list of things to be done. Over the holidays many of you decided to take part in this work and support us. Our one time goal was met and exceeded. How humbling this has been! Thank you!
We still need your help. As of right now, we have a monthly income of about $800. Can you help support us monthly while we serve? We still need to raise $2000 in monthly commitments. This could be 20 families pledging to support us with $100 a month or 40 families committing to $50 a month. As you look into the upcoming year we ask you to consider coming alongside of us by supporting us on a monthly basis. Please believe in the work God is doing through SuNica so that we can love the people of Nicaragua.
