The Westside School of Mission and Theology invites you to join us as we begin the process of sending our students out to different corners of the world.

After nine months growth in classes, interning, mentor-and friendship, students are sent out to new cultural contexts to serve. These two month trips are called practicum, because it is the capstone to their development over the year, as they live on mission, loving and blessing others, radically relying on Jesus and the Spirit, going beyond their comfort zone to say, “any place, any time, any cost!”

Our hope is that in addition to individual fundraisers the students have set up, additional funds will be received here to be split between the class to help support those needing a little extra assistance.

Students will be spending the final two months of this eleven month program serving in one of the following locations:

Bend, OR, USA
San Diego, CA, USA
Glasgow, Scotland
Belfast, Northern Ireland
Chiang Mai, Thailand
Kampala, Uganda

They will embed into local churches, families, orphanages, and serve alongside local ministry leaders who partner with established ministries, church plants, social justice projects, orphanages, outreach events, refugee care and more. During this time, classroom experience will extend into life experience in the global Kingdom.

Each student will have hands-on involvement including leading worship, teaching the Bible, assisting with feeding programs, caring for orphans, and learning the daily operations of pastoral life. This two month window abroad will help further prepare them to understand the full scope of vocational ministry.

Funds will cover all airfare, accommodations, meals, ground transportation, insurance, immunizations, and incidentals. All donations are tax-deductible. We would love to have your support both financially and through prayer!
