Save an Iraqi child with a life-threatening heart defect
Right now, thousands of Iraqi children are waiting in line for lifesaving heart surgeries. This Fall, we’re giving you the chance to mend one child’s heart. We’re providing medical training for local doctors so they can save lives in Iraq.

There is a backlog of children in Iraq born with Congenital Heart Defects (CHD), correctable defects in their heart that threaten their lives. Already the most common birth defect in the world, CHD is one of the leading causes of death for children in Iraq, and this is why we’re committed to saving their lives—to save their lives.
