Hi there!

First and foremost, I need to say a HUGE THANK YOU for being part of the fantastic work that is being done through SASCU in Uganda!  Because of your partnership, young lives are being given education and training opportunities that provide a better way of life. Even more important, they are being loved, protected and cared for. Children are discovering how their lives and giftings can be used in a powerful way when aligned with God's plan. 

Second, I need to apologize for not connecting nearly enough with you. This effort is too important not to share. I never want you to think you are taken for granted or not greatly appreciated for trusting me with your giving. My daughter (Kelsey McHenry- sponsorship coordinator) and I just met with a great rep from Pure Charity (donor management organization). She was very helpful and gave us simple tools on how to stay connected better. You have my word... we are going to do better. 

Biggest change to announce now: (22) children have been relocated to beautiful Providence Farm in Luwero (25 miles) north of Kampala. If your child is one of the kids that has moved, they have been put into a new program within Pure Charity called Providence Farm Partner (PFP). This is a higher level of monthly commitment but in no way an attempt to get you to give more. You can always give more (don't misunderstand me :)). This is an effort to match our children's sponsorship funds with the specific funding needs/goals of the ministry. If you choose to remain at the current level sponsorship ($35/month), DO NOTHING.   Please allow Kelsey to get you connected to another orphan or extremely vulnerable child in Kampala. She will be in touch in the next few weeks to introduce you to your new child if a change was made.   

Important things to keep in mind:

All kids moved to Providence Farm are only allowed, 1 sponsor
Your level of sponsorship (monthly donation) will never change unless you change it
Your sponsored child may change as conditions determine - you will be notified
Your love and support is incredible and life-giving
Look for an opportunity to bless SASCU this Christmas and the communities they are in...info coming soon!

This place is raising up an army of difference-makers as they continue toward their vision of a society where no child lives in the streets. You are making this happen!
