I hope this newsletter finds you very well! We are ever grateful for your continued support of the ministry and mission of Save the Street Children International and our partnership with SASCU.

As 2021 continues to provide challenges, the Lord’s has reminded us of his unfailing love and faithfulness.  Save Street Children Uganda (SASCU) has continued to adapt its operating methods to improve providing opportunity and care for children and families of Kifumbira Slum and the full-time resident children in Luwero at Providence Farm.  Life in the city with the COVID lockdown has multiplied difficulties for SASCU families in attaining basic needs. It's providing open doors, softened hearts and opportunity for ministering in Jesus name.  The result of the lockdown has also raised prices significantly across the board and Innocent, the SASCU’s Director, was hospitalized for an extended period due to a serious bout with the COVID virus.  Despite the challenges,  here are some ways that your generous support has helped maintain a safe, thriving environment for many of these special young lives:

**Web-based education materials and weekly counseling continue to be made available to over 50 sponsored children and their families in the Kfumbira slum

**Christ Providence Church (established by SASCU) have formed Discipleship groups

**(4) Teachers were hired to come to the farm to provide a quality education for the 22 SASCU resident children living there (Public schools are still shut down due to COVID 19)

**Many crops were planted to help with the food shortage: corn, sweet potatoes, beans, mangos, cabbage, spinach, and eggplant. The farm and crops are thriving and producing!

**Due to a generous donation from Christ Community Church of Little Rock, Arkansas, a new, fully modified van has been purchased for the Ministry

**Our Good Earth friends and partners have made resources available to construct a bunk house for the farm workers and teachers at Providence  

**7,500 more Eucalyptus trees have been planted at Providence

**50 Goats have just been sold to help with operating expenses and farm development
