On behalf of Royal Family KIDS San Diego, we want to say thank you! Our mission was to create lasting memories for children of neglect, abuse and abandonment. That’s exactly what we did. Over the course of a week we were able to change the perspective of these children from one that lacked self-worth to one that can stand strong knowing there are people who love them and want nothing but the best for them. None of this would have been possible without your incredible generosity.

Patiently building trust with each child provided a space where they felt safe enough to share sensitive information about their pasts. Because our leaders made themselves available, we were able to provide Child Protective Services with new and helpful information about the ongoing care of these children. Though this may seem sad it is actually an important step toward their continued safety and wellbeing. In addition to providing that safe space, unique character qualities were identified in each child and we had a chance to show them what unconditional love looks like. Children were given Bibles, birthday gifts, clean clothes, new shoes, and memories that will last a lifetime. It was an honor to give these children a glimpse of the Kingdom and show them the heart of the Father. And we’ve only just begun the journey.

We are committed to creating a culture of impassioned and involved churches in San Diego who are living out what we pray: “to increase in generosity until it can be said that there is no needy person among us.” Your continued support allows us to pray through potential mentorship opportunities and prepare for camp in 2022!
