We have EXCITING news! We are adopting!

We are so excited to be expanding our family through adoption. We're blessed to have two amazing little girls. We have always had this desire in our hearts to have 3 children. In 2016, we were expecting our third child, but sadly suffered a miscarriage. A few days after receiving the news, Kameilia became very sick and was rushed to the hospital. Once we arrived, we learned that she was bleeding internally and needed to have emergency surgery to save her life. By God's grace, the doctors were able to save her, but unfortunately the surgery left us unable to have any more biological children.

After that time we have been taking time to heal both physically and emotionally. The thought of adoption had been planted in our minds prior to the miscarriage and during our healing process we kept feeling drawn to adoption. We began to pray to see if this was God's plan for expanding our family. At the beginning of this year, we felt that God told us now was the time to pursue adoption. We were so excited to start this process. We started the application process in March and here we are in May we have all our paperwork in and are waiting to be matched. We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome another child into our home.
