First of all, THANK YOU to everyone who has donated to our PureCharity, given us cash, hosted a 31 party, bought coffee, planned a bake sale, donated items for our yard sale, & ran their own fundraiser for us. The impact has been huge. As a result of your kind & generous souls, we have raised $4,209. I can't believe it. With every dollar added to our account I begin to tear up. Unfortunately, we are still $1,291 away from our FIRST home study fee and need to have that submitted in the next two weeks to continue with our home study. The great part is that in terms of paperwork and things we needed to get done... we are just about finished! The interview phase of the home study comes next, and with it another bill of $8,600. At this point we are considering getting a low/no-interest adoption loan to cover that cost.

Things are moving along and there are plenty of opportunities to help support these financial goals we need to meet. May 13th will be a wine tasting, and 20% of sales will be donated by my dear friend. I generally have a 31 party running, and you could host one as well. Thank you for all of the continued support. We have been blessed to hear so many adoption stories from adoptive families and adoptees alike and it has been powerful motivation to keep moving forward. Continue to pray as we work through the process, raise the funds, and prepare our hearts and homes for a new little one.
