Hi Friends and Family,

Can't wait to share this exciting news with all of you!

We are officially pursuing an infant domestic adoption to grow our family. We have a whole lot of love to give and adopting is one of the ways we are able to share that love. Earlier this year we went public and shared a video that described the challenges we have experienced the past several years with infertility and pregnancy loss. Growing up, both of us have been exposed to family and friends who are either adoptees or have adopted children and have always wanted to step into that community in some way. 

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. The agency we have chosen to work with has provided us a list of expected future expenses which has led us to focus our goal at raising $34,000 to ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. 

In addition to fundraising we have applied for adoption grants and we are hopeful we qualify for them and are waiting to hear back. (Check below for updates regarding the status of grants and other fundraising events we have been hosting throughout the year.)

We would not be able to have persevered thus far into our attempts at starting a family without the love and support of so many family members and friends. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our future child as he/she grows up. We can't express enough how grateful we are for each and every one of you!
