Water is Basic is a local dream and solution to the water crises in South Sudan. For more than four years the WiB crews, made up of local Sudanese, have been drilling an average of 100 wells per year. To date they have given clean water to 10% of the population of South Sudan.
The biggest hurdle these crews face is the wear and tear on drill bits as they drill more than 100 meters through hard rock. On average each crew goes through 3 drill bits every year due to the the rocky soil.
A new drill bit is about $900.00 and your contribution through Pure Charity means they will not have to stop drilling for lack of bits.
Let's give clean water to a people who have suffered enough! Give hard, sharp new drill bits.
