In partnership with Canopy NWA, we (a co-sponsorship team from The Grove Church) are working to support a refugee family arriving in Northwest Arkansas.

As a team, we are trying to raise $2,500 to cover a small portion of the $8,000 it costs to support a refugee family in the first 90 days of arrival.

We are so excited to welcome and support a refugee family in very tangible ways, but we need your help. With your support, our group of volunteers and Canopy, will be able to provide a family with:

• A furnished apartment and a stocked pantry upon arrival

• Assistance getting to school, work, language classes, doctor appointments, and other needs

• Skills needed to begin and maintain their new life here. (shopping, using public transportation, cultural/social skills, finding employment and job training)

• General support and a loving community to help make NWA feel like home
