What a whirlwind of so many ups and
downs 2015 has already been for me! From unexpectedly losing my job at Nothing
Bundt Cakes to having the unbelievable opportunity to spend a week in Haiti on
a short term mission trip at the beginning of March, to fracturing my knee if 4 places as a result to the surgery I had last fall. It has all been the
biggest blessing and learning experience to truly put my faith into action and
see God’s perfect love, timing and grace in my life. Hear me when I say, that this opportunity would not be possible if I had not gone through some of these trials this year. God truly does make all things work for the good of those who love him.
As many of you know, being the hands and
feet of Christ through the local church and missions has been a part of my life
for over 7 years now. It has provided the opportunity for me to spend time
loving others and spreading the gospel of Christ in Dallas, Haiti, Honduras and
Sierra Leone in the past. Once again God has opened the door for me to be a
part of a Watermark Community Church young adults team going to Assela,
Ethiopia July 24th-Aug 2nd, 2015. I am honored and
excited to be able to share the Gospel with people who have never heard the
name of Christ before, as well as just show others how much they are loved and
matter to God!
I’m sharing all of this with you, in the
hopes that you will keep our team in your prayers, and if you feel so led, to
support me financially in this mission.
Prayers: Please join me in prayer for the
following…
·
for
us to see the Ethiopians through the eyes of God
·
for
God to break our hearts for what breaks his
·
for
safe travels

our health (both physical and spiritual)
·
and
for the good news of Jesus to be advanced through this trip.

I have
committed to raising $4,300 for this trip. The funds raised will cover my
airfare, transportation, food, lodging, translators, supplies and medical shots
needed to be in the country. All funds are needed to be raised by June 1st,
2015.
I can’t put into
words how appreciative I am of your love and support over the years. Thank you
for being an influential part of my life, as well as the lives of others around
the world! If you have any other questions or would like to know more about the
trip, please let me know. Also, I would love to see any prayers, encouragement or comments below.
With love
and gratitude,
Rasheal
