Help us Raise our Roof
In 2010, YWAM Ireland was blessed with the gift of a building in the beautiful village of Rostrevor. This is an ideal location for our ministry of reconciliation and training missionaries to reach the nations.
We called our building “An Cuan” (on-koo-in), Irish for Harbour. As a harbour, An Cuan is a place where people come to get refreshed and equipped to be sent back out into missions.
Today our centre is a hive of activity. We run Discipleship Training Schools sending teams to serve around the world. We host open mic nights, worship gatherings, community fairs, parent/toddler groups and sewing nights. We also run retreats, seminars and conferences that minister to hundreds of people annually.

To be given such a beautiful building was a great honour and we are privileged to have it. With this gift comes the responsibility of caring for it by making needed upgrades and improvements. The most obvious area of need is the 100 year old roof which is letting water into many parts of the building and causing secondary problems, such as mould. A brand new roof for our building will see us through the next 50 years (or more!) of ministry here.
We need to take urgent action to prevent further internal damage to our building. With spring and summer upon us, this is the ideal time to do it. Our roofing contractor, John, comes to us with decades of experience and an enthusiasm to help us preserve our facility.
PARTNER WITH US
We need to raise a total of $168,000 (£100,000GBP) to replace our entire roof as well as carry out other necessary renovations to the building.
Our first goal is to raise $50,000 USD (£30,000 GBP) to begin Phase 1 of the roof repairs. Will you prayerfully partner with us by donating to our Raise the Roof fund? With your partnership, our ministries will flourish in a dry, healthy and leak-free building.
