Below is a high level summary of the expenses for our adoption along with where we stand.

Total (approximate) Fees: $42,025

Total paid so far: $5,600

Remaining: $36,425

We have saved another $2,000 of personal contributions and we have pending family contributions totaling $11,500.

Fees remaining after (current) personal and family contributions: $22,925

In Feb-March timeframe, we will be in a position to begin personally saving about $1,500 each month for the adoption. We will be trusting God to provide the remaining amount.

Lastly, please pray for wisdom, as we keep a close eye out for any unethical behavior during this process...In developing countries, unethical behavior can sadly be common when large sums of money are being exchanged. In the midst of unethical or confusing situations, we remember that God did not give up on us. Please pray for us to be extremely shrewd.
