Six months ago, the Lord began stirring in my heart a desire to utilize the gifts and resources he has blessed me with to serve Him in a country filled with poverty, disease, and hardship beyond my understanding. I started praying that God would open doors for my summer and guide my steps as He saw fit. As I dug into the Word for guidance, the Lord revealed to me how deeply His heart breaks for the orphans, widows, and unreached people of this world and how, as followers of Christ, our hearts should do the same. It became clear to me how our sole purpose here on Earth is to bring God the glory He deserves by making His name known to all nations.

Pure Mission is listening to Jesus’s clear command to help those who cannot care for themselves (James 1:27) and I get to be a small part of their work this summer. They have established a safe place for children and adults in need to come and find care, food and the love of Jesus. I will be in Africa from May 28th-July 5th! My first week in Malawi, I will be assisting John Brown University nursing students and three doctors put on clinics in neighboring villages. The remaining time I am over there, I will be working wherever the missionaries need me most. My purpose while on this trip is to experience first-hand what God is doing in Malawi, be used as a vessel to show the love of Christ to whomever crosses my path, and to let the Lord speak to me clearly about His desired next steps for my life.

This is where I need your help!! I am asking you to prayerfully consider being a part of my team. I need people to fervently pray for the Lord's will to be done through this trip and selflessly give to help me meet my goal. Donations will need to be made by May 15th.
