Hi Friends!
We're home study approved, our paperwork is in the mail, and now we get to watch God fund our adoption! adoption costs are expected to be $40,000 + !! We're applying for grants, but we need your help too!
We're launching an "Adopt and Envelope" campaign, an opportunity for you to join us by donating a dollar amount between 1 and 200. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
How it Works:
1. You choose an "envelope" from 1-200. Scroll down to our list of envelope numbers to make sure yours is still available, first.
2. Donate the amount on your envelope. For example, if you choose envelope 76, you donate $76.
3. If you'd like, you can send (mail or email) us a note to our child, with loving words, scripture, or wisdom, showing the love that is poured out to them. We'll write your name on your envelope and store your note with it for this little one to keep forever. :)
4. The site you're donating through (Adopt Together) will send our adoption agency a final check to cover some of the costs. We won't ever touch your money personally.
5. You receive a tax write-off for your donation :)
If every envelope is claimed, we'll have covered $20k of the expenses, about half of our expenses! our child will forever know how many people sacrificed to bring him or her home.
