It's been a while since I've posted an update, so I wanted to share what's been happening in the last nine months. After receiving CARA approval in February, my wait for a potential referral officially began. As my agency says, the adoption process timeline is predictably unpredictable. Due to the covid surge in April and a variety of other factors, the referral process for adoption from India has slowed down quite significantly. At this point, I'm still waiting for a referral, but I am hopeful that it will happen soon! I've been taking advantage of this time to prepare and am thankful for how God has been growing me in this season. I'm so blessed to have such a supportive community that reminds me of God's sovereignty and goodness throughout the long wait!
