Update:  Through donations, a grant, and fundraising, we have raised $19,100 so far!!!  We still have about $10,000 left to go, but we are getting close!

Adopting another child was NO WHERE on our radar.  We were done adding to our family.  However, God had different plans for us.  Those plans included a fifth little Mahoney whom we have chosen to call Cora Hope. 

While we don't even know the magnitude of Cora's health needs at this point, we know they are great.  This is one of the reasons we want her home as soon as possible.  Cora Hope will need at least one more heart surgery in the near future.  We want this done here with our medical team so that she has the best possible chance at a positive outcome. 

So, we hope to have Cora Hope in our arms by the end of the year, and that means we have a lot of money to raise in a short time - approximately $30,000  As Ryan says, we have a bit of a problem with the math.  While Ryan makes a very good salary at Boeing, he does not make enough for us to come up with the needed funds in time to bring Cora home.  So, that's where you come in.  We need your help to bring our daughter home.
