Provide a water well for the Msongola Orphanage
These children pull dirty water out of a hand-dug well each day for drinking and cleaning. TNM is drilling a new bore hole for them and we need a hand pump to install for clean water access.

The Msongola orphanage is located on the outskirts of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in an area with no electricity. Msongola is home to 25 children between 3-15 in age. About half of the them are orphans and the others are abandoned. Currently there is a family from Malawi serving as house parents but they have very little to work with. There is a hand dug well with dirty water and children as young as five have to draw up buckets for daily use.
Like all children, these kids love to play. Right now, they play with a soccer ball made out of paper bags for entertainment.
They have a garden, but it doesn't get much water as most of the water that is drawn is used for drinking and cleaning. The orphanage did just get some new toilets installed and they would like to have a well drilled with a proper pump installed for clean water.
Thirst No More wants to address the basic need for clean water first! We are raising $1,000 which will be matched by another group to pay for the pump install on the water well. After this need is met, TNM will network other ministries with the orphanage to assist them with sustainable programs in education and health.
