Cristo Rey, Nicaragua. A place that has changed my life and heart forever. 

For those of you who know me or keep up with me on social media, you know that I am extremely passionate about this country and specifically, these people. The more I go to this sweet place, the more my eyes are opened to how much I am called to go back every time. I feel that the Lord has placed this city in specific on my heart for me to be the hands and feet of Jesus. For a little over a year now, I have been sponsoring a beautiful young girl named Maria Fernanda through the amazing non profit organization, Beautiful Feet. (beautifulfeet.org) Through this I have been given access to an amazing relationship and have had the ability to provide healthcare, food, and other services for my sweet girl. Maria and my other sweet children I have formed relationships with in Cristo Rey are my motivation to keep going back there. They have revealed to me the selfless love and relational side of my walk with Jesus Christ. They have shown me the concept of "I'm with you". These children have no agenda, they solely intend to walk along side of you and spend time you, similar to what Jesus wants to do with us if we are willing to let Him in. 

The Lord has said that if we ask for anything in His name, He will do it if he is willing. So therefore, I am asking the Lord to help provide funds for me as I embark on another mission trip this summer. It looks as if I will have the opportunity to stay for two weeks if the funds all line up. Now, I am fully aware that financial help isn't something everybody can provide and I know that those of you who have helped me in the past may not be able to again, but I do know that financial help isn't the only way. 

I believe 100% that prayer is actually MORE powerful than anything else. So with that being said, please consider joining me in prayer as my team and I begin to prepare our hearts to take on this mission yet again.
