Dear Northwest Arkansas Community,
We hope this message finds you and your loved ones healthy and well. Have you had a chance to get outside and enjoy our beautiful part of the world in springtime?
It’s no surprise that recent events have found so many of us drawn to nature – a world we’re often too busy to appreciate. Yet while the news fills us with concern, the trees are full of song and the spring flowers in full bloom, reminding us that we are all part of something larger.
Nature is what we need right now, and nature needs us.
Today is NWA Gives, a day of regional giving to the nonprofits of Northwest Arkansas. Now more than ever, generous supporters have the opportunity to step in and fill the gap, lifting up the organizations who do good work for our region.
At your local land trust, we continue to work hard during this time, protecting the lands that matter most – lands that protect our clean drinking water, local foods and farms, habitat for native wildlife, and access for families to get outdoors and connect with nature. Land gives us life, which is why two years ago we launched our Land for Life Campaign, striving to save an additional 5,000 acres of critical natural areas in our growing region.
If you are in a position to give, will you donate today to protect Land for Life? During NWA Gives,
your gift will be matched 100% by our generous supporters. Gifts of any size are appreciated, and your impact will be DOUBLED TODAY! If you are unable to give at this time, please consider sharing our campaign through your social circles and help raise awareness for land conservation in our region.
Northwest Arkansas is truly one of the most generous communities in the country, and we’re honored to carry on the mission to forever protect quality of life through the permanent protection of land. Thank you for your support. We hope that you find solace in nature in the coming weeks and beyond.
Yours in Conservation,
The NWALT Team
