Hello!
Hello Everyone! I am really excited to be going on my second international mission trip this summer. In the summer of 2013 I had the opportunity go to Ecuador. This was an amazing trip. I learned so much and had the opportunity to share about my faith in Jesus Christ with lots of people. Ever since that trip I have been looking forward to going on another mission trip to South America. I am so excited that this June I will have the opportunity to go with e3Partners to Yurimaguas, Peru with my mom and dad.
The Gateway to the Amazon.
Located in northern Peru along the Amazon river basin, Yurimaguas is a thriving port city
of 64,000 residents. Strategically situated between the Huallaga and Paranapura rivers, it
is a critical trade center for hardwoods and petroleum. Yurimaguas is also one of the last
urban centers accessible by paved roads when driving north. Beyond its beauty and culture, Yurimaguas is a strategic entry point into the region.
God is doing incredible things in Yurimaguas.
On this mission trip, our team will share the Gospel through door-to-door visits, as well as hold a medical and eye clinic each day. I will be sharing the gospel door to door with my dad but will also have the opportunity to work in kid's ministry and play soccer. We will have the opportunity to meet new believers who are taking their first steps as followers of Christ, and we will spend time in discipleship each day.
Will you pray for me and our team as we go?
Please pray for our team while we are in Peru. We are leaving on June 9th and returning on June 20th. I can't wait to go and then tell you more about the city and people of Yurimaguas and all that God is doing there.
