We're thrilled to announce that our home study paperwork was finalized the last week of June. An approved home study enabled us to finally apply for our our first immigration approval from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). It can take up to a few months for the USCIS to issue an approval, but once that's done, we're on the cusp of being able to send our dossier off to China to be matched with a child. So tantalizingly close!
