We have BIG news!

We are Starting the process of adopting a child.

While in Haiti while volunteering at a trauma hospital, I learned of the many children who were left abandoned due to their medical issues. One of those children, Emmanuel, found a place forever in my heart. One week after I returned, he passed away and I to this day feel that he could have been afforded a longer life had he been in the US. I would like be for our family to help a special needs child that needs a forever family. 

We are the Moskowitz family. My husband and I work in community health, I as a Family Nurse Practitioner and my husband as a referral coordinator. We are bio parents to our animal science loving daughter and our science loving son. 

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of 30,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
