Kidmia cares for orphans and vulnerable children with the goal to find them permanent homes or reunite them with family members.
Why Milking Cows?
A single cow can provide enough milk for a family's needs plus extra to sell in the local market. The income earned every day from selling milk will provide a sustainable source of revenue for the family to care for all their children. As part of this project, families will also benefit from training in business and modern dairy farming skills.
A Donation to Kidmia’s Milking Cow Project Helps Bring a Child Home
Every child in Kidmia's Child Transition Center has a projected adoption or reunification date. We have identified five children living in our Center waiting to be reunited with family members who have been unable to provide for their care—until now.
Your support for Kidmia's Milking Cow Project provides physical nourishment, training and increased income to help families bring their children home. At the same time, for every child who returns to a healthy, financially secure family, it opens up space at the Center for Kidmia to care for another vulnerable or orphaned child who might otherwise have no place to go.
