We are so excited to be adding to our family through adoption. Our adoption journey has not been long but we have had some major ups and downs already. We completed our home study and got all of our paper work turned in in March. With in 2.5 weeks of being active and seeing cases we were matched with a birth mom due in May! We were beyond excited to welcome another little girl into our family. As we were waiting for the call to tell us to pack our bags to travel we got another kind of call. The baby had been born but the birth mom had decided to parent her. We were and are heartbroken. However, we know God has a plan for our family and we are trusting Him in all of this. He is faithful and He is good! 

We are continuing to move forward on our adoption journey but we have “lost” quite a bit of funds in our failed adoption. We are trying to raise money to offset what we used on our first match.
