GREAT NEWS! We are in the final steps of our adoption and are feeling more than ready to bring our daughter HOME. We had the privilege of traveling to Ethiopia and adopting our sweet girl in August. So as of August 13th, Sena was officially adopted into our family and became a McDaniel…but she had already been claimed and adopted into our hearts the moment we laid eyes on her little photo and heard her birth story.  

Some of you have been following our journey closely and others reading this may be new to the story, but whoever you are, thank you for taking the time to consider helping us bring our little Sena home. Sena’s name means “Gift” and “Blessed” in Ethiopian. We are sure that she has already lived up to her name. She is a gift and a blessing just as so many of you have been for our family.  

We are now in the last stages of fundraising for our adoption and needing to raise the money for our final trip and subsequent fees!!! After what feels like a long journey, we need to raise the funds for our travel expenses to pick her up and bring her HOME!

We've started a fundraiser on Pure Charity and have a donations goal of $7,000.

We love adoption and believe that every child DESERVES a family.
