Help One Now is doing orphan prevention and family
empowerment projects in partnership with Take Action Ministry in
Pretoria, South Africa and the surrounding area. The work focuses on
education, health care, economic opportunity, and spiritual development
in order to transform communities and keep vulnerable children WITH
We are partnering with Take Action Ministries in Pretoria, ZA to empower and resource Pastor Norman Lamola of Maubane Rivoningo Transformation Centre as he cares for orphans and vulnerable children.
We will focus on holistic community development to keep vulnerable kids thriving within their families and help transform the community.
Essentially, it’s community development and family empowerment! By addressing desperate social
needs such as education, nutrition, health care, social awareness,
leadership training, and economic development, we can ensure that
families and communities have a chance to thrive. And in time, as health and education permeate this younger
generation, change and progress will come from within rather than without.
Under the local leadership of Pastor Norman Lamola, we
believe that these families can break the cycle of extreme poverty.
The Maubane Rivoningo Transformation Centre is serving hundreds of children and families every day through an early childhood development program, after school program, community gardens, clean water point and a thriving church on Sunday mornings! The impact on the community has been profound.
A great deal of work has already been completed on this project, and we are excited to finish of the facilities for the Centre! This final phase will include...
$35,000 – to finish the Early Childhood Development Centre & After School Care Building
$12,000 – for the inside finishing of the building, including kitchen fittings, plumbing, sinks, gas installation, JoJo water tank and stand for rainwater collection, tiling, shelving, cupboards, writing boards, curtains, desks, chairs, and other necessary furnishings.
We cannot wait to see the long-term impact of this community development work, and we hope you will join us in this story!
