We are adopting a child!

We are beyond excited and have been doing everything we can for the past several months to be prepared. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. And although the route we’ve chosen to take for adoption is on the “cheaper” end of things, it is still not completely free. This is why we have set a goal of $15,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. We have chosen to focus on the special needs population, and we have actually identified a child through the second chance adoption program who needs his forever family. We’ve done everything we can to prepare and we have every service and professional out here ready for him, but we need your help now. This sweet boy was apart of our family the second we saw his picture, and we can’t bare to give up on him now. 

We know that this year has been quite the ride for everyone, and things are tighter than ever. But really all we ask for during this holiday season is your help along our journey. Whatever you can do to help, even if you can’t donate, just sharing our story would truly make a world of difference. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he grows up.
