One question that I recently got answered from our socail worker is clarification about what costs we can expect. I asked her about if we will know more about how much everything is going to cost once we get matched with a mother and her baby. I'm glad I asked! I always thought that our costs would be dependent on the mothers costs, but I guess our agency just has one domestic rate-- they just sort of allow that to average out for them and their expenses. That's GREAT news for us!! That means instead of the almost $28,000 that I was estimating, we will need to pay about $21,470. That's considerably less than I originally thought and a huge blessing since I feel I have been overwhelmed at times thinking about how we will reach our goal.

Hopefully, Zach and I will be able to save or get grants for $10, 735 and we hope to raise the other half. We already have nearly $3,000 toward that goal, and others have already told us they are planning to give towards that goal. We are unbelievably thankful. We couldn't be where we are without all of this support. But we still have a ways to go.
